Bio

Thomas grew up in Darnestown and has been a St. Raphael parishioner his entire life. He is a SRNS alumnus and later went on to graduate from Gonzaga High School in Washington, D.C. Thomas studied broadcast journalism and history at the University of Maryland. After college, he spent his first two years working in sports radio at SiriusXM. Thomas made a career change, seeking a job with more purpose, that led him to teaching. He taught third grade at Our Lady of Victory in D.C. for one year, and then joined the SRS staff in 2011. Thomas teaches a variety of subjects in the middle school, including social studies, Spanish, and 7th Grade religion. He also coaches SRS CYO basketball.
